Materials: polyester velvet

Orange velvet Medieval cowl which can be worn as a hood, neck warmer and a "baseball cap" style eye shade.

Worn by master and servants it was a multi purpose garment - pulled up as a hood at the chilly start of the day then dropped down around the neck as the sun came up. As the sun was high the cowl could be removed and turned upside down, the face opening now around the head. Arrange the folds up over the head and fold sides in to make a bill like a baseball cap to shade the eyes. "The Hunting Book of Gaston Phebus 14th century."

Very comfortable. I thought this tunic was going to be too long, but it works well underneath both of my medieval style dresses I wear it for with no dragging on the ground. I'm very pleased with it! Shipping was fast too!

It's harder to find this style hood than I thought it would be. The cut, color, and fit are all perfect! But most importantly, the hood itself is large with a wonderful drape, and doesn't suffer from the dreaded awkward point. I'll be recommending your work to everyone who admires it!

Item was shipped the day after I ordered it and arrived the day after it shipped. Seriously it was so fast!! Packaged well, the plastic envelope was taped shut so that the item didn't escape during shipping. Quality of fabric is nice and it is soft and not super sheer. I put this on with no other undergarments and the coverage was sufficient. It is also adorable. I feel like a princess wearing it and I love the way it fits! The sleeves are on the shorter side and I am beyond thankful for that. I am 5'2" and get so tired of the plus sizing being so long it hinders wearing the garment. The length is also perfect when on my shoulders. Off the shoulder it just skirts around my feet, which is not a problem for me. I love this garment so much I forsee wearing the life out of it (at which point I'll just buy another) 😂
