I couldn't wait to post these new scarves...and with the literally small window of sunlight coming in I had to act fast taking the photos! The colours are true and fast.

I love how this scarf turned out (the sibling is in another listing). The scarf shows more warp or weft colour depending on the side and can be seen in a couple of the photos. Warp is the long stripes and weft is the flax colour going across. The pattern I chose gives lovely drape to the scarf and the ample size compliments the structure making it comfy and scrunchy to wear.

I only have a female mannequin available to model but this scarf can be worn by anyone!

The ends are hand stitched with a straight fringe that's about 6 inches long. The scarf itself is 13 x 72 (approximately) plus fringe and it's all washed, pressed and ready to wear!

Organic cotton available by special order only at this time cost $325. Colours vary. Timeline 2-3 months.

Care:

Wash and dry like you would any fine cotton handwovens. Soak in warm water - and squeeze - don't wring when wet as it will distort the weave structure- hand or place in a dryer for a while (not too hot) ...and press.

This scarf is soft - and will get softer the more you wear it...it's really hard for me not to keep one for myself!
And being cotton it's hypo-allergenic...so is great for anyone!

This beautiful handwoven shawl has become my quasi security blanket when I am feeling anxious about the world around me! It is so comfortable against my skin and drapes nicely around my shoulders. The color is very tranquil and the weave is absolutely stunning. I am very pleased with my purchase and it definitely exceeded all expectations!!

This shawl exceeds all expectations. It is super cozy, warm, and stunningly beautiful. It is a dream has come to reality from BC and is now around my neck, shoulders and head. It is the textile embodiment of a hug. Trish you are a stellar artist - Thank you so much!!!

I am very happy with my purchase of eco-dyed yarn. The yarn appears to be of excellent quality and Trish was a delight to deal with for this purchase. The logwood colour of the yarn is gorgeous, and I am pleased with the variation in saturation between selected dyelots which will provide ample contrast for two strand colour work on the yoke of Junko Okamato’s Papa sweater I found on Ravelry. Trish spent the time needed to photograph various dyelots, which really helped me make a great choice. Definitely recommend this seller and her gorgeous handyed yarn!

You know that amazing feeling when you open a package and gasp with wonder and joy? That’s how I felt when I saw this gorgeous handwoven shawl. The colors’ subtle pattern is exceptional, the weight and hand of the piece is sublime. I am overjoyed to have this beautiful shawl for the fall and winter ahead!
