A little something for my steampunk / industrial style fans :)

I came up with this version for my pet loving customers who did not want the back bar pipe as they had larger pups and were afraid of them banging their heads when eating :)

Sturdy Industrial style floating Dog bowl feeder so you can choose the height that best fits your pup and attach it to the wall with the included matching screws and plugs.

All pieces come with stainless steel dish washer safe washable dog bowls ,matching screws to pipe color as well as wall plugs.

Size is 1 3/4" thick x 12” deep by 18” to 30" long depending on how many bowls you chose. (If you need a bit shorter just ask)

Options available.

1- 2 -Medium size bowls holds- 3 cups and is 6″ diameter and 2 1/2" deep. (2 x 12 x 18 1/2" long)
2- 2 -Large size bowls holds- 6 cups and is 8 1/2″ diameter and 2 1/2" deep. (2 x 12 x 20" long)
3- 2 -X-Large size bowls holds- 11 cups and is 9 1/2″ diameter and 2 1/2" deep.(2 x 12 x 24" long)

Wood used is hand picked by me and is stained and protected with a clear coat to slobber proof the surface.
Note this is a rustic piece so all wood imperfections like small cracks, knots etc are common and add to the finished look.
Pipes receive 2 coats of clear and then your color choice.

The depths of my shelves are listing in nominal dimensions. Please Google "Nominal Wood Dimensions" for more details.

For example a 2"x12" (used on shoe racks and shelves and dog bowls) nominal is actually 1 1/2" x 11 1/4" after drying, planing and sanding.

- 2"x10" is 1 1/2" x 9 1/4",
- 2"x8" is 1 1/2" x 7 1/4",
- 2"x6" is 1 1/2" x 5 1/2".

That's the way the wood is produced from the wood mill.

The maximum depth that all wood manufacturers make is 11 1/4".

solid pine wood is purchased from my wood supply shops. I recommend that you hand rub the wood conditioner of your choice as soon as you install your item. And re-apply the conditioner frequently to retain the satin finish, and to help eliminate warping of the rustic wood, especially if it is installed in a humid environment. Beeswax is a very effective wood conditioner.

Rustic may have aggressive growth rings, wane, knots, some bowing and twisting, and an occasional crack. That is the desired look of my industrial products. I hand pick my wood based on this.

I do not try to make my wood look distressed by hammering them with tools or chains or other DIY blog techniques. You simply can't make the boards look good with these techniques.

I bought the floating feeder with the 3 XL dishes with backsplash, for my two Rotties. I must say, I LOVE this piece and I get so many compliments from guests. The biggest bonus, they can no longer flip over their water bowl 😂. That alone was worth the price of admission! Thank you, Lew! The love for what you do shows in your work. we love our feeding station. keeps the kitchen floor clean and it is perfect for our doggos. We have the version with the water trough - it's genius. The water bowl never gets empty. The pictures are nice, but they don't do the product full justice. It is really beautiful and fits in perfectly with our kitchen/family room decor.
