Description

This lovely little number is a brand new design and part of our Spring-Summer 2017Collection.
Entirely made from reclaimed and vintage printed cotton twills & rayon materials.

This dress design is so comfortable, sweet and very easy to wear.

It will fit sizes 2-10 because the back of the dress has an excess of fabric. There is a wide belt sewn into the front waistline that when tied around the waistline, to your comfort, allows dress to fit a variety of shapes and sizes.

There are inverted box pleats just below the empire waistline which gives the design a very functional yet feminine feel. There are side pockets and a belt attached to the front dress that can be tied to gather the back of the dress.

The dress also looks great when layered with a black turtleneck or a slim fitted long sleeve shirt underneath.

Measurements:

Bust - Up to 40 inch circumference

Waist - Up to 36 inches

Hips - Up to 50 inches

Payments

Secure options
  • Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
Regular orders:
I only ship upon payment (fully received), then I ship within 2 days unless mentioned previously or extraordinary circumstances.

Custom orders:
I usually charge a minimum of 30% additional for custom orders, depending on the complexity of the design being created. My consultation ( helping you in the process of picking fabric, color, texture and design changes) is free, I do charge for pattern grading if you are a size other than what it is I have available (i.e: changing the pattern to your exact body measurements) I will not modify my design to suit your tastes aside from grading the size up or down.

Attention: for complex pieces and "special bodies" requirements, in order to guarantee a perfect fit I offer the option of making a muslin mock, which starts at a minimum additional charge of $100CAD but is subject to a case by case consultation. Final price of this extra work would need to be discussed to be determined.

Cost:
Full payment of a custom order is required upfront before I start working on the garment/accessory. Once full payment is received, the details agreed upon within your custom order will be considered complete, no further changes to the design or order will be made.

All of the measurements are listed within the posting so please check that the sizing matches your measurements prior to purchasing. Items must be unworn, tags still attached & free of odor and in perfect condition. All sale items are final sale. The cost of the clothing will be refunded AFTER reception of the garment and only if the garment is in perfect condition.

Shipping fees are not refundable, return costs are your responsibility (I strongly recommend that you purchase additional shipping insurance, especially if you live in a remote area!).

Please note that Etsy charges fees on the sale of items, these services fees will be deducted from the refund of your returned purchase.

Return for custom orders: custom items are refundable at my discretion depending on the kind of transaction and size of the garment.

FAQ’s:

What goes into creating an adhesif garment?
Well first a great idea, then a lot of passion and last but not least persistence and a lot of hard work!
We often get asked how we go about creating our pieces and thought we would provide you, the consumer with a little bit of information about our process and a general idea of what it takes to create our very original garments.
First we hand source bulk quantities of older textiles and second hand clothing at your friendly neighbourhood thrift shop as well as scour garage sales and vintage clothing stores.
The items then get cared for (washed and dried) and then are deconstructed at the seams and prepared for use in composing the designs. Some of the fabric sometimes undergoes hand dying and the woollen materials are often felted in the process.
Now the materials can be sewn together into panels of fabric. The designs are cut from these panels of fabric and bundled in groups according to style and organized in sequence for sewing. All of the sewing is done by local, contracted sewers.
Once the items are sewn together, they are returned back into my hands for final touches like hand stitched detailing or sewing buttons.
The items are now ready for distribution at this point. They are either shipped or hand delivered by myself to boutiques through wholesale orders or sold in local markets by myself as the main presenter.
From start to finish all clothing articles are conceived, produced and distributed by Melissa Ferreira and my small team.

Wholesale and Consignment:

For wholesale guidelines and our Term's and Conditions please contact info@adhesiflcothing.com and we shall provide you with the adequate forms.

At this time we are not conducting any consignment sales as we cut per order and do not generally have sufficient inventory to accommodate.
