In February 1883, Monet spent time in the French fishing village of Étretat. While there, he painted twenty views of the beach and rocky cliffs in the area. He often painted the same view, but at different times of day, or in different weather conditions.

The Monet's Étretat Art Card Set features 12 unique works of art depicting scenes at Étretat. Included with this set are instructions for preparation and presentation of 4 activities:

1. Card matching (1:1 matching of art cards)
2. "I Spy" matching of magnified sections of image to full image
3. Matching real photographs to the art cards that depict the same flowers (control cards included)
4. Colour matching - when paired with colour tiles, the child can identify which colours appear in each image.
5. Étretat colouring page

These are a great alternative to real sandpaper letters! As a Montessori guide turned stay-at-home mom I was looking for a cost effective way to introduce sandpaper letters to my son. I printed them on card stock, and used glue and sprinkled on glitter to make the texture. After it dried I laminated the cards. I was pleasantly surprised at how much texture came through the laminate. Perfect for what I was looking for! I enjoy the cute watercolor background too. Fun without being too distracting. I definitely recommend these sandpaper letters!

I love the aesthetics of these cards. The letter and animal name coordinations are super cute. I loved them all, although I would’ve preferred the “x” be an Xylophone or and x-ray fish. just preference, but but the cute Fox is cute and it’s also a reminder that things also end with “X”. I appreciate the instructions and suggestions that come with the printable, so helpful to my 5year old. He wanted to connect letters and is excited about cursive. These cards are big enough for little hands. Will definitely be purchasing again
