I come from a family full of artists and craftspeople, and consider myself kind of a late bloomer. I've dabbled here and there in art, but found my passion for all things beaded, fabric, metal and wearable. I've always loved hunting down unique vintage finds, and incorporate many reused, or upcycled items in my creations. I am intrigued by vintage romance like the Art Noveau era, artist Alphonse Mucha, and that is why I often pair up soft and femine elements with modern touches, and fabric elements with modern metal. " Vintage with a modern touch" is a favorite saying of mine.
I believe what you choose to wear makes a statement about who you are, and I hope that is apparent in my work. Be unique, Be bold!
