I have been an artist my entire life and a custom jeweler for most of it. I just love beauty. In 1983 I started my own business, 'Sensitive Perceptions' and started making Sterling Silver & Gold jewelry. I had no formal training, I just knew what I liked and attempted to bring it into reality by trial & error. I had worked for a silver company which made silver buckles and silver for western horse gear, primarily saddles & bridles for 3 years, but I wanted to work with colored stones and crystals; those living elements that had energy of their own and to design items that touched a wider audience more personally. 85% of all my designs have been custom; I wanted to imbue jewelry with energies specifically empowering the wearer. The remaining percentages are those items I was instinctively prompted to make or was just pleased to manifest for enjoyment of the design or style. I appreciate the art styles of many eras and races, Indian of many nations, Celtic, Egyptian, Victorian, African, Archaic, Fantasy, Goddess, Nature, Animals, etc. There is such an infinite source of elements of manifestation that is attractive to me, so I play with all I can. I continue to learn to ever expand my art. It has been a labor of love that has never lost its desire to express through me. I am blessed!

I make my jewelry with a variety of methods: lost wax casting, casting with organic materials, flat metal fabrication, repoussé, chasing and forging with hot metal. The materials I use are Sterling Silver [.925] Fine Silver [.999] and Gold of different Carat. Some Jeweler's Bronze and Copper for accents. I use real stones in most pieces, but for color on less expensive items I will use laboratory grown [for example: emerald, rubies or blue sapphires* these will be clearly stated in the description] All of my items are clearly marked for material, each is impressed with my Logo [which are 3 Rune Symbols] and all work in any area is also marked for Copyright if it has been my original design. If the item is not my original design, but has been made by me, for example, to cast a wax that I purchased, I will clearly state this in the description. Other items like many of the Celtic items I produce have been made from the ancient designs in Celtic manuscripts, or books or pictures of ancient carvings. The WORK is then copyrighted.
