Welcome! My shop features the creative projects I enjoy. I'm a great believer in handmade gifts. I especially love gifts that are not for any special occasion other than to say, "Hey, I saw this and knew you'd love it," or "I'm glad you're my friend," or "Thanks for inviting me for dinner!" I started knitting and crocheting at age 6 and Grandma taught me to sew shortly after that. I started drawing in elementary school, and followed it with oil painting in high school. I studied costume design in college. I've taught sewing and painting classes. I play trumpet in a brass quintet. I am also a purse and bag designer and work with my sisters in my other etsy shops: bagitdesigns.etsy.com and bagitdesigns2.etsy.com I like to stay busy. It's cheaper than therapy!
