Hello! My name is Carmen, and I live in Chestermere, AB, Canada.
I am a Mother, a Wife, and a Fur Mum of Ellie (cat) and Pablo (boy dog)...

I have loved fabrics, yarn, stitches, and thread all my life, since my home education teacher in school taught me how to knit, crochet and sew in my early teen years. After I finished high school I wanted to study design, but ended up in Biochemistry ha! Through the years I moved into business and supply chain, working for Corporate for 20+ years. I just turned 50 and have decided to leave my job, and to give design and my passion a chance. I want to pursue my dream of having an online store and being able to work from home.

I want my creations to be 100% hand-made (where possible), and stitched with machine embroidery. I source my fabrics to be as environmentally friendly as possible, and as beautiful as possible. I assemble all my creations at home, the old-fashioned way. With character.
