The Daffodil Project is raising funds for cancer research - in honour of the fact that April is the Canadian Cancer Society's Daffodil Month and that so many lives are touch by cancer.

The Weekend To End Breast Cancer
On June 5-6 Jay walked 60km in the Weekend To End Breast Cancer and all women's cancers. Her goal, along with her team of Groovy Boobie Girls, was to raise $20,000 for the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. With your help, she surpassed this goal!!

Use Words Not Guns
A project that originated through a city wide task force on guns and gangs violence intervention and prevention. Steph's task was to identify the long term needs of the families affected by random gun violence. Steph was given a small budget and the tasks to write grant proposals and fund raise but as her health declined she was unable to complete those duties, the program was cut. Never the less she was unable to let go and in whatever means she could she continued to help these kids by providing basic needs and accessing resources and providing emotional support as they grow and move on. Most of her etsy shop,
stuffbysteph77.etsy.com, profits go to supporting these kids. Should you have items (clothing, school supplies, gifts or toiletries for example) or a financial donation please contact Steph by email stuffbysteph at yahoo.ca or via her shop stuffbysteph77.etsy.com

Proceeds from the rip-off project go to the Nelson House Women's Shelter in Ottawa, ON.
