I'll be selling at St Lawrence antique market this Sunday from 6AM till 4PM- this is my stall preview. Let's hope it'll fit in the car!!

For the love of all things old and beautiful

It all started many years ago when our parents took my brother and myself to flea markets and junk shops, and allowed us to make a little extra pocket money by selling off some old household goods and toys in front of our local supermarket. It instilled a love for the old and a fond appreciation for the used. The love to hunt and acquire, combined with the love to minimise, results in a fully stocked shop!

It remains a wonderful feeling to match an item to its rightful owner, be it a treasured gift, a replacement for a lost family heirloom, that swanky new addition to your home décor no-one knew they needed or a few professional theatre props.

At any given time, there will still be a backlog of various items to list, so if you don't see it here, do not hesitate to ask if it's still 'in the back'!

Tell me about shipping

Items are sent out within 1-3 working days unless otherwise stated in our shop announcement. We ship on Monday and Thursday. Please contact us if you are in rush to receive your item.

Shipping will be combined if possible and we use recycled packaging materials. Parcels will be sent with tracking and insurance.

Our postal provider Chitchats express makes USPS services available to us in Canada so US customers will not be charged customs fees.

Overseas buyers please be aware that your parcel may incur customs fees, which you will be responsible for.

We do ship worldwide, please ask us for a postage quote if your country is not listed (yet).

What is my item is damaged or gets lost in the post?

Please contact me with a clear photo of the damaged item, or send me a message if the item fails to arrive within 25 working days. Please check with customs if they are holding your parcel!

Should an item return because it was unclaimed or refused at the post office / customs, the buyer will be responsible for postage fees to have the item re-sent. Otherwise, the item will be subject to a restocking fee of 15% of the item price + CAD $5 and the original postage fees will not be refunded, even if postage was 'free'.

Do bear in mind that all my items have a past and will normally show signs of wear. Take care in using them as they may not stand up to rough handling.

What if I change my mind?

To Cancel: Just send me a message before it ships for a full refund.

To Return: Contact us within 7 days of delivery and post it back within 7 days of notification. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and the outgoing postage fee cannot be refunded. The buyer is responsible for the return postage fees and returning the item in the same condition that it went out.

Please do not send it back to the US address on the envelope, this will delay your return by 8 - 10 weeks.

Items sent back late, without notification, or items that broke in use cannot be refunded. Any major flaws will be described but small signs of wear will be assumed. Please read my descriptions carefully and zoom in on pictures.

Can I reserve an item, or pay in installments?

Yes - and Yes!

Contact me to have an item reserved for you for a maximum of 3 calendar days (free of charge)

I ask a 15% non-refundable deposit when starting an installment plan, further details (installment amounts, duration of the agreement) will be discussed on an individual basis.

Can I come and visit your shop?

Sorry! Unless you are collecting an item, this store is currently online only. We have recently started doing fairs and markets in Ontario, keep an eye on our Events page on Etsy, or on our Facebook page (1000crows) for the latest dates / locations!

I like your items, but not their price / postage fees?

Just send me a convo with a link to the item; some items have more wiggle room than others, please do not be afraid to ask!

I ship worldwide and some postage fees are estimates. Contact me with your city + country to get a more accurate quote.

If you live near Toronto, feel free to collect your item from my home in East York. My nearest TTC is Woodbine.

Will I receive the item pictured?

Yes! I take photographs of all items individually, and will not re-use old photos.

My photographs are an important part of the item description so please have a good look at them to judge the items condition. Do ask for additional images should you require them and I'll get them to you asap. Beware that colours may be seen differently depending on screen settings.

I always describe all items, including their flaws, to the best of my ability. Having said that, I am only human and it is possible for me to miss something. Please ask questions before purchasing if you have any concerns!

Will my item come from a smoke-free and pet-free environment?

Neither of us smoke, but we have a dog; a 3 legged beagle called Titus.

He is not allowed in any of my storage areas but I cannot 100% guarantee that none of his hair will ever make their way into one of my parcels. Please be aware of this if you have (severe) allergies.

Having said that, all of my items have had previous homes where there may have been smokers / cats / dogs / birds etc. If any of this is clearly noticeable on an item, it will be part of the item's condition description.
