I am a multi-media artist, designer, instructor, and writer. Diversity, change, and the materials themselves inspire me to explore new possibilities and grow my knowledge and skills so I can create distinctive, handmade fine art and fine craft works. I design and create Custom, One-of-a-Kind, Limited Edition, and Made-to-Measure fine art and fine craft works that are Originals, part of a Design Series, and/or are members of a Collection.

Home is Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and Calgary and area is rich in diversity.
Diverse landscapes: mountains and prairies, fields and forests, lake-lands and bad-lands.
Diverse climates: from arid river valleys with wild cactus, rattle snakes, and dinosaur fossils, to world-class, snow-capped mountains and foothills where bears, buffalo, and skiers roam.
Diverse cultures: from indigenous peoples, multi-generational communities, new immigrants, and refugees from all over the world, all sharing our cultures, festivals, cuisines, languages, arts, and traditions.

I believe that:

◆ Marks and variations are expected, desirable, and serve to enhance the beauty, character, and aesthetic value of fine art and fine craft works, are a vital part of what makes the works personal and unique, and are reminders of the work's handmade origins.
◆ That satisfaction is necessary for happiness: satisfaction in our work, in our relationships, with our choices, and with our surroundings.
