Announcement    "Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." --- William Morris

My work is individually made-to-order in my studio in Canada. Each item is a functional piece of art --- a glass tray, a handwoven scarf, a handmade bracelet, or a slice of stained glass colour peeking between the leaves of your garden plants --- all made to be used and loved.

Enjoy!

Functional design for a sustainable lifestyle

This past year I've been working on living more simply and purposefully, and increasing the use of sustainable, upcycled materials for my small-batch studio.

I've also embraced a seasonal shift in focus: concentrating on glasswork during the summer when I can power my studio from its solar panels, and creating my textile work indoors during the long cold winters.

What hasn't changed is my love for interesting textures, soothing colours, and delicate heirloom details, in an homage to a less cluttered time and lifestyle.

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

Many of my scarves are hand-dyed or hand-painted, and I do set my own dyes before finishing my items. However I can't guarantee that colours will not eventually fade or wear, so please use care when laundering.

Please also know that commercial clothing items may leach their own dyes (blue jeans are a notorious example) and I can't be responsible for your clothing transferring dye onto my items. Thanks for understanding, and supporting handmade design!
