Returns and exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
-Items can be refunded 14 days after received if they are in the original condition and haven't been obviously used. It will be up to the buyer to cover the extra shipping costs in order to ship the item(s) back. The refund will be awarded once the piece is received.

-Artwork/Set-up fees are non-refundable.
Payment
-Payment is via paypal, direct check-out, money order, or personal cheque. Items will not ship and/or artwork will not start until payment is received or cheques have cleared.

-Payment is appreciated within the same day of order for faster processing.

-Our standard turn-around is 2-3 weeks for most custom orders. Due to increased demand for rushed orders we are now charging a 10% fee to have the turn-around decreased to 1-2 weeks.
Shipping
The most common question I receive post purchase is: When will my order ship?

Because all of our items are made to order this can get a little confusing. I'd like to take this opportunity to try and clarify the shipping delays!

-FINISHED PIECES & REPEAT ORDERS IN THE BASE (NICKEL) FINISHES-

We have a once a week casting/shipping cycle for most standard orders. We collect all the orders and cast them on Monday/Tuesday and then ship the packages out on Wednesday.

All standard orders (finished goods, and repeat custom orders) in our base finishes (antique and reflective nickel) should ship within 7 days, every Wednesday of the week. Meaning that an order placed on Thursday, Saturday and Monday would all ship out on the following Wednesday.

-FINISHED PIECES & REPEAT ORDERS IN PLATED FINISHES-

We offer the service of having your piece finished in another metal other than our base nickel or pewter finishes. These include Brass, Gold, Silver, Copper and their derivatives.

This is another process that usually adds 3-10 business days to the production time. Larger orders typically get done faster as they can sometimes be done alone whereas smaller orders will be bunched up and finished with other orders.

These orders are also typically shipped out once a week every Wednesday.

-CUSTOM ORDERS-

Every customized piece needs to be:

-Designed digitally
-Printed or milled into a plastic resin
-Polished and cleaned up once printed
-Molded into metal
-Cast from said mold
-Finished/Polished

This process typically takes 2-3 weeks for most orders. A lot of the work is done by hand (mold cutting, preparing of resin pieces) and sometimes when doing more complicated projects problems or defects occur and this can add a week or two to the project. Typically I will give each custom order an estimate time of completion in the notes on the custom listing.

These orders also then ship out every Wednesday.

-USPS AND CANADA POST DELAYS-

In order to use the USPS we have to physically bring our parcels across the border. Because of this we round them all up and bring them across the border once a week on Wednesday. This allows us to ship almost all of our orders with tracking and is the quickest method.

Because we bring most of our parcels across the border Canadian orders fall into the schedule and usually ship out on Wednesday as well, only via Canada Post

Here are the standard Shipping Delays:

United States: 1-3 Business Days
Canada: 1-6 Business Days (Increasing the further from Quebec you are)
International: 7-14 Business Days

-NOTES / FAQ -

-International times can vary, please contact us if you are concerned for a particular order.

-Delays can apply if parcels are stopped at customs and thus these shipping times are standards and can vary. Please understand that once the item is shipped its arrival time is out of our control. If items are needed quickly please contact us and other shipping options can be arranged.

-International orders may be subject to the specific duties or levies of that country. It is the buyers responsibility to pay said duties or levies as they are not included in the shipping price.

-All purchases in the U.S.A and Internationally will be shipped with tracking. Small orders within Canada will be shipped regular mail.

-In the case of lost packages please allow an extra 10 business days from the anticipated arrival date before claiming that the package was lost.
