My Journey as an Artist
Desde pequena, lembro-me de amar a arte. Nunca me interessei por outros assuntos, mas todas as aulas de arte que tive eram especiais. Todos os meus professores de arte foram tão gentis e reconheceram que eu tinha talento. Eles me encorajaram a continuar me empurrando se fosse algo que eu realmente queria fazer, e eu rapidamente aprendi que era. Eu coloquei meu foco em criar e me sobressair durante minhas aulas do AP Art Studio, o que me ajudou a me preparar para estudar ilustração na faculdade. Ser capaz de criar minhas próprias narrativas e meus próprios mundos no papel, no entanto, eu queria realmente me motivou a me tornar um artista melhor.
Na minha jornada, aprendi tantos médiuns diferentes e tive muitas oportunidades incríveis de aprender e experimentar novas artes e artistas. Seja indo para palestras de artistas na escola, participando do meu programa de portfólio sênior, ou aprendendo com meus professores em sala de aula e um-a-um, tive muita sorte de ter essas oportunidades para me ajudar a crescer como artista.
Como tive essas oportunidades em estudar arte, também quero compartilhar com outros as habilidades que aprendi. Quero criar ilustrações e comissões para outros que apreciam a arte como eu. Ever since I was little, I remember loving art. I was lucky to have my teachers and parents support my passion as it helped nurture who I am today and what I love to do. I was never really interested in any other subjects, but every art class I had was special. All my art teachers were so kind and recognized I had a talent. They encouraged me to keep pushing myself if it was something I really wanted to do, and I quickly learned it was. I put my focus on creating and excelling all through my AP Art Studio classes, which helped me prepare for studying illustration in college. Being able to create my own narratives and my own worlds on paper however I wanted really motivated me to becoming a better artist.
On my journey, I've learned so many different mediums and had many amazing opportunities to learn and experience new art and artists. Whether it was going to artists talks at school, participating in my senior portfolio show, or learning from my professors in class and one-on-one, I've been very fortunate to have these opportunities to help me grow as an artist.
As I've had such opportunities in studying art, I also want to share with others the skills I've learned. I want to create illustrations and commissions for others that appreciate art like I do. So thank you for taking some time to look at my shop and I hope you find what you're looking for!
