Announcement   Welcome to my Etsy Shop! I look forward to seeing what you find here that catches your eye and makes you want to wrap yourself up in quilty goodness :-) When you purchase a quilt from my shop you can rest in the knowledge that you are getting a high quality item sure to provide many years of enjoyment.

I have a passion for free motion machine quilting and I offer quilts for sale that have been carefully handmade and custom machine quilted by me on either my sit down long arm or my full frame longarm, using hand guided stitching - no computer programmed designs.

Quilts are handcrafted in a non-smoking home with no pets, using high quality quilting fabrics, threads, and batting. All bindings are hand stitched to the backing. Quilts are machine washable and dryable and are sold pre-washed so they come to you ready for cuddling. They will get softer with further laundering :-) All quilts can be hung on the wall using a simple rod and clip system.

Enjoy your time in my shop and let me know if you have any questions :-)

About

I doodle on fabric with thread (that's my definition of free motion quilting) and I LOVE it :-)

In the spring of 2015, I browsing Pinterest for ideas on making an old fashioned braided fabric rug. I came across a woven one made from a "jelly roll", and having no idea what that was, I googled it to find out it was a cool pre-cut roll of fabric strips for quilting projects. Along with that info, I also found fast & furious quilt tops made with jelly rolls and decided to make a couple because I like quick projects.

I fully intended to have someone else quilt them, but I knew my sewing machine could be set up for free motion quilting so I decided to give it a try out of curiosity. I was hooked from the first test block and I dove right in and quilted my own tops. That led to one quilt after another and I've now completed over 195 quilts and I do custom quilting for other people as well. I'm in a very happy place when I sit down to quilt and I can stay there for hours, just enjoying the creativity and the process of doodling with thread.

I eventually brought home a sit down long arm machine which gave me a lot more space to work in, and I progressed to a wider variety of piecing patterns, although I LOVE solid colors and wide open negative space because it's a whole playground where I can do whatever I want, happily quilting as I go. I rarely mark anything because I enjoy being spontaneous as I move around the quilt.

I've recently welcomed a full frame longarm machine into my home and am now starting another new adventure with broader possibilities.

After 195 quilts, I still haven't made that rug ;-)

I've been sewing most of my life, and in 2015 I discovered a passion for free motion quilting. I love the process of "doodling on fabric with thread", adding texture, artistic elements, and a personal touch to all my quilts.

Frequently asked questions

Shipping costs for returns and refund adjustments

I accept returns as per my shop policies. I carefully examine each quilt before shipping to ensure its condition. If you wish to have your package insured against any possible damage during shipping, please contact me prior to purchase so I can add that fee to your shipping cost. Refunds for returns are completely dependent on my receiving the item back in its original condition; again, shipping insurance for your return is your choice. Original shipping costs will be deducted from refund and return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

Custom and personalized orders

I do accept custom orders for quilts as time permits, so if you want to discuss a special request, please send me a message and I can let you know if I'm able to accommodate your project idea :-)

Please note:
* I don't sell bed sized quilts at this time; coverlets are available
* a deposit will be required for any custom ordered quilt
