From IKEA Girl to Antique Maven

Antique Cast Iron Beds had its beginnings with my late husband Victor Cronshaw. In 1974 he started refinishing antique iron beds and spent the next 40 years building up his inventory and working in the antique industry. We met late in life (on eHarmony) and married. It appeared that things might not continue after our first date when he saw my condo for the first time.....90% furnished with IKEA. When I saw his 1880 farmhouse for the first time, he said no piece of IKEA furniture will cross his threshold. We had a good laugh over that. Unfortunately, he passed away five years after we met. I have the honor to continue his legacy. We are the largest antique cast iron bed shop in Canada and I hope to continue selling these wonderful pieces of history to their next stewards.
