I am all about colour!
Hello! For me my art is all about the colour. I work with mixed media, primarily acrylic paints, various mediums and glass. I generally paint using a pouring method with multiple layers. My work tends to be very organic, no two pieces are the same. As I paint over an extended period of time i must allow a piece to set and dry properly between pourings. This teaches me patience, and gives me time to ponder the piece. Ultimately because i must wait for the drying process to take place it becomes almost mediative for me. I become very intune with what the piece is speaking to and this helps me know when to stop the painting process and know when to say - this piece is done.
