More About my Art Journey
I started my Artistic Environments Company in 1993 being a Specialty Paint (faux finish) and Mural Artist... After the Faux Finishing market went completely soft, I was driven to use some of my specialty paint finish ideas in my art works. I love to create, then paint cut-outs, crackle finishes, sculpted borders, fun textures on my works of art .
Many of my art works have that 3-d touch to them. Papers, color, texture, sculpted, crackled.. I also use a number of different substrates -styrene, gator board, wood, sintra to create my fun works of art. I like to call them "More than a Painting." I also like to create different characters, whether it is painting Vlad the Impaler, My Glamor Girls or some Beautiful Nature Natives.
My chalkboards are completely Unique! A combination of function and art. Fun textured borders with colorful impressionistic art.
There is something for everyone in my shop!
