I loved my family portrait and the seller is very responsive and asks great questions. I didn't have a great picture of my sister, mom and I and she was able to create a cohesive image of all of us in our usual "go to" outfits. I've always been a creative at heart, but definitely feel like I found my passion when I discovered surface pattern design. There's nothing quite like learning something new, having it click, and feeling like you've found where you belong in the great big art world.

Fun fact! It's been almost 12 years (eek! yes 2012-sheesh!) since I opened my first Etsy shop. And yep, it was right after I had my first baby. I started out selling blog designs (haha old school Blogger templates), transitioned to printables, and then have focused on custom family watercolors and illustrations the past 8+ years.
