Intentional Adornment
Azraels's Forge began one sunny afternoon in 2008 when the destruction and subsequent recycling of an old television set led to Bryce Musil discovering the versatility of copper wire as a medium for creating art. This discovery would later combine with the desire to wear a piece of Black Jade found after a powerful vipassana retreat. This piece would serve as a reminder of that experience and a touchstone to anchor the process of transformation. Months later, Bryce had a dream that he gave away the first piece and created a new piece to guide the next phase of his journey. This piece was crafted bearing a star as a reminder of the search for purpose and meaning. It would later dawn on him after work for some time and dedicating himself to the process of creation, that in this case, the medium was the message. Bryce has continued to hone his technique and deepen into the process, still guided by dreams, the truth of beauty, a passion for meaningfully adorning those men and women who would wear a reminder of who they are, what they value, and where they are going.
