Some things are built to be replaced. BarbedCraft is not one of them.
Every piece that leaves this bench is hand-carved, hand-painted and finished by hand — not because it is the easiest way, but because it is the only way to get where I want to go. Vegetable-tanned leather that will outlast trends, outlast fast fashion, outlast the brands that put a logo on something ordinary and call it luxury. The kind of leather that does not just age — it tells a story.
I started where most people start — wanting something that did not exist yet. Modifying my own clothes, my own accessories, pushing materials until they became what I had in my head. That obsession never left. It just got sharper, deeper and more deliberate with every year. Since 2018, I have been doing this every day — and I still feel the same pull every time a new piece of leather hits the bench.
The work I make lives at the edges — Viking and steampunk, post-apocalyptic and medieval, rock and punk and biker and the kind of dark, atmospheric imagery that does not fit neatly into any one box. Skulls with personality. Figures carved so deep they cast their own shadows. Backgrounds that fade like a stage going dark after the last song. Rust and brass and salvaged steel turned into jewelry that looks like it survived something. Every piece has a point of view. None of them are made to blend in.
I care as much about what you cannot see as what you can. The edge you run your finger along. The back of the belt against your skin. The lining inside a bracelet that sits against your wrist for twelve hours. These things matter. They have always mattered to me, even when nobody is looking.
BarbedCraft is named after barbed wire — something with an edge, something that holds its ground, something that does not pretend to be softer than it is. That is the work. That is the intention behind every cut, every stamp, every brushstroke.
