Hi! I am Brigitte Wahlbeck, founder of AngelfishLove. I am grateful you have chosen to find out more about AngelfishLove and join me in this amazing journey.
I have always been intrigued with the history of businesses and the human element of how and why people have arrived where they are, so here is my story!
I have a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice and worked in Law Enforcement for 18 years. I decided to follow my heart and quit my high-paying, stressful, violent-prone, thankless, you are just a number Government Law Enforcement job and jumped head first into a more mindful and heartfelt existence.
I decided to change my life instead of letting life change me. We all know one constant of life is change. Many times the changes are out of our control, like a family tragedy, and other events that "just happen" and leave you standing there wondering, "what in the world?" I understand those things are the journey of life. However, I decided to take the control back into my hands...Here I go!!
AngelfishLove was conceived from several Love inspired events that have been the cornerstone of my relationship with my most amazing, kind, and patient husband. His nickname for me is Angelfish, because I love to swim! Also, every year since we have been together (almost 19 years now!) he made for me hearts and love inspired things on most holidays; and of course Valentine's Day. Hence, AngelfishLove was born!
I have taken great consideration into what kind and type of business I wanted to start, be a part of, and grow. With that my Mission Statement was born and sums up what I feel and aspire for AngelfishLove. I hope you will take this journey with me, become part of the family and share the Love.
