Als Einwanderer aus den Philippinen hatte ich damit zu kämpfen, aus einem Leben, das ich gekannt hatte, entwurzelt zu werden. Es ist nicht einfach, in einem Wahlland Fuß zu fassen, in dem alles und jeder neu war. Sich in der Gemeinschaft zu engagieren, neue Freunde zu finden und eine Therapie zu machen, hat geholfen, aber das Basteln war für mich der Weg, den Prozess zu meistern. Und diese möchte ich gerne mit Ihnen teilen!

As an immigrant from the Philippines, I struggled with being uprooted from a life I'd known. It's not easy taking root in an adopted country where everyone and everything was new. Getting involved with community, making new friends and doing therapy helped, but crafting has been my go to way to process. And I would love to share these with you!
