I created Bleu Marie in 2009 after a trip to Ireland where I discovered pottery. I left everything right back home to dedicate my days to my new project. Originally from Montréal, I now live in Saint-Vallier where I split my time between pottery and surf. With passion and commitment, I make blue-colored dishes and house & garden objects that remind of my love for the ocean.

Are your pieces FOOD SAFE? Are they LEAD FREE? Can I put them in the OVEN, MICROWAVE, FREEZER or DISHWASHER? And can I use them on the STOVETOP?

FOOD SAFE & LEAD FREE - My pieces food safe. They are also certified lead and cadmium free thus complying with the Canadian Regulation on Glazed Ceramics.
OVEN, MICROWAVE, FREEZER, DISHWASHER & COOKING ON THE STOVETOP - My pieces are designed for a daily use. They are oven, dishwasher, freezer and microwave safe although I recommend hand washing and carefully avoiding thermal shock at all times by waiting until it has cool down to room temperature before to wash, by never using it on the stovetop (even with a heat diffuser) and by always using a trivet when hot (preferably cork, straw, silicone or wood). You can also soak it into water to wash or use steel wool to clean.

LOST - Contact me after 2 months if your order still didn’t show up. I’ll send over a new one or fully refund your order unless the tracking shows that the item has been delivered.

I BROKE A LID, can you make another one? Can I REPAIR it?

BROKEN LID - Unfortunately, if you broke a lid, I can not make another one because ceramic lidded pieces are adjusted and fired together.
REPARING CERAMICS - You can try and repair your broken piece with super glue by carefully following the manufacturer's instructions, but it will no longer be food safe. Make sure to repurpose the pieces you repair into non-food items such as desk pots or planters.
