Announcement   Thank you for visiting Bravenity Boutique! Due to a surprising turn of events, our family will soon be moving to Omaha, Nebraska. Therefore, most of my shop will be closed for a couple of months so I can focus on a smooth transition. During this time, all wood coat racks, organizers, and farmhouse home accents will be temporarily unavailable for purchase. But feel free to check out the always-available printable art while you wait.

Also, be sure to “like” my shop to be among the first to know when Bravenity Boutique is fully back open for business. When I return there will be fresh new items, along with all the current favorites!

Sincerely,
Brenna

I had a couple of adorable little helpers today! My lovely nieces helped me prepare for product photos. They are good with a hammer — maybe someday they’ll be helping me in the shop!

About

I'm an eclectic artist with small town, Midwestern roots.

Welcome to Bravenity Boutique! My shop name is derived from my first name, Brenna, which means "Raven-haired". My parents had my name picked out before I was born — I was born blond, but they stuck with it anyway. :)

So I guess you could say I was born with a “going with the flow” attitude. Yet I grew up in a small town in Nebraska, and those roots are seriously strong and deep. It’s a contradiction, I know. I try to stay grounded, but love that life is full of unexpected twists. Some are better than others, of course, but I believe there’s some kind of hidden beauty in every moment, and I work to reflect that in the products I make.

Once upon a time I was a career-oriented graphic designer, but after our first son was born I surprised myself by becoming a stay-at-home mom. I loved every minute of raising our two sons, Joey and Jack. My husband’s job kept us moving quite a bit over the years, but now that we’re settled here in Illinois and our boys are teenagers, I've taken to expressing my creative side in a variety of ways. My dad and grandpa taught me woodworking when I was a girl, and it’s rewarding to come back to that. I still love art and graphic design, too, so I’m working to mesh these different crafts into a home decor line that’s simple and inviting, yet fresh and unexpected.

I hope you enjoy perusing my shop, and please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any comments or questions for me!
