Love putting together orders, they are knitters like me, so it partly feels like I’m packaging up presents for a kindred spirit! heart

About

I'm a maker, just like you!

Before I created Cedar River Knits, I was a relatively contented knitter using mass-produced plastic rings for stitch markers. Even knotted loops of scrap yarn would do when those weren’t handy.

Hanging out on Pinterest one day, my eyes were met with gorgeous little ceramic beads. I imagined how lovely they’d be on a stitch marker. I was smitten with the idea of creating the same look with polymer clay. Who wants knitting notions that could break with one tumble onto the floor!

Since then, I’ve been designing and making pretty progress keepers for knitters and crocheters who want something delightfully out of the ordinary.

I absolutely LOVE polymer clay as a medium, I dare say I'm just as passionate about it as knitting! So I spend my days dreaming, experimenting, and playing with yarn and polymer clay to turn them into things my fellow knitters can enjoy too!
