I'm Char, the creARTive entrepreneur behind CharmedinLA.
Born in Canada but now calling Los Angeles home, I have always been an artist but never thought I could actually BE an artist, if that makes any sense. So I did the retail jobs, the office jobs, found out I was great at PR, so did the PR jobs. Eventually I ran my own shop, fittingly named Charm Communications, of course. My surname begins with an 'm' so put Char and M together....Charm! What came first, Char or Charm? The egg of course! Wait...no...oh you know what I mean.
Back to art. So there I was, PRing away when it dawned on me "hey, you do all this work promoting other people, why don't you invest in yourself as a client?" And the answer is because self promotion sucks. And it's hard. Harder than promoting other people. So then I thought "well at least do what you love" and that was advice I could handle. So here I am. Loving what I do. Doing what I love, living my best CharmedinLA life.
