You know that indescribable feeling when something grabs hold of your soul so
completely that you lose all sense of time?
Two things engage my spirit this way: observing birds in the wild, and painting inside my
cozy little home studio.
My watercolour paintings are a way to share some of that magic with you.
Let them take you on a walk that connects the wonders of the natural world - ancient
trees, spectacular birds, the rhythm of the tide - to the comfort and warmth of your own
little corner of the universe.

I am an Australian-Canadian wildlife artist, currently living in beautiful Southwestern Ontario, Canada. My studio overlooks the garden, where I can watch the birds while I work. Inside my studio I enjoy the antics and company of my free-flying indoor rescue birds: Keats, Mr Small, Nana Banana, and Nemo - all budgies - Button, the Cockatiel, and a pair of blind Quakers: Marco & Polo. I also have a cat, Pete, who wishes he lived in my studio haha.

My art ranges from pure illustrative to realism. Each piece is painted by hand either in my studio or plein air (outdoors). The prints are made either in our Chatham print shop, Planet Print, or by one of our global partners.

I started selling my art on Etsy in 2008 and I've had the wonderful opportunity to form relationships with customers all around the world.
