Bienvenidos a Clover Hall, una mansión histórica (ficticia) ubicada en algún lugar de Nueva Inglaterra y enclavada en un paisaje montañoso flanqueado por bosques y campos. La mansión fue construida por un artista y coleccionista de arte cuya hija amaba tanto a los conejos que sembró el terreno con diferentes tipos de trébol para que los conejos se sintieran atraídos por sus colinas verdes. Las obras de arte de esta colección incluyen algunas de las piezas que han colgado en los pasillos y habitaciones de la mansión.
La mayoría de las piezas que encontrarás aquí son antiguas y las he editado, alterado y mejorado para que se adapten a un tono y estilo específicos, pero conservando su esencia original y la huella del paso del tiempo. Mi esperanza es que se les dé una nueva vida cuando las disfrutes en tu hogar. Cada pieza ha sido cuidadosamente seleccionada por mí y es algo que colgaría con cariño en mi propia casa. Espero que encuentres algo que te hable y que juntos apreciemos el arte y los artistas del pasado.

Una nota sobre la estética:
Me atrae lo imperfecto.
Las cosas que muestran evidencias de uso, del paso del tiempo, del desgaste, como todos nosotros sufrimos con el paso de los años. Este adorno de carácter no se concede a lo nuevo y brillante. No se puede revelar con un pulido riguroso o con esfuerzos por alcanzar la perfección. Es este plateado que viene con la edad y el uso cuidadoso lo que me encanta y espero que encuentres mucho de eso en esta colección.
Soy originaria de Maine y crecí en una casa de campo construida en 1776, rodeada de antigüedades, naturaleza, pinturas y grabados antiguos, así como del estilo de vida, el paisaje y la sensibilidad estética de Nueva Inglaterra. Estas cosas se han infiltrado en mi mirada y mi estética y han encontrado su lugar en esta colección. Espero que la disfrutes.

Welcome to Clover Hall–a (fictional) historic manor house located somewhere in New England and nestled on the hilly landscape flanked by forest and field. The manor was built by an artist and art collector whose daughter loved rabbits so much that he seeded the grounds with different types of clover so the rabbits would be drawn to its green hills. The art in this collection features some of the pieces that have hung in the halls and rooms of the manor.
Most of the pieces you’ll find here are vintage and I have edited, altered, and enhanced them to fit a specific tone and style while still preserving their original essence and time’s changing mark. My hope is they’ll be given new life as they’re enjoyed in your homes. Each piece has been thoughtfully hand-selected by myself and is something I would lovingly hang in my own home. I hope you’ll find something that speaks to you and together we’ll appreciate the art and artists of the past.
*As time allows, I’ll be adding some original pieces that I’ve created as well.
A note on aesthetic:
I am drawn to the imperfect.
The things that show evidence of use, the passage of time, the chipping away, as we are all chipped away at over the years. This adorning of character is not granted to the shiny and new. It cannot be revealed in a rigorous polish or efforts toward perfection. It’s this silvering that comes with age and careful wear that I love and I hope you’ll find much of that in this collection.
Originally from Maine, I grew up in a farmhouse built in 1776 surrounded by antiques, nature, antique paintings and prints, as well as the New England lifestyle, landscape, and aesthetic sensibilities. These things infuse themselves into my eye and aesthetic now and have made their way into this collection. I hope you enjoy it.
