TO THOSE WITH SENSITIVE EARS, I only buy nickel-free, lead-free hypoallergenic ear wires/hooks, hoping that most people will have no problems. But if you have serious allergies, I do have stainless steel hooks. Please let me know in advance if you prefer stainless steel so I can accommodate you!

CARE TIP: I buy the best ear wires I can get my hands on but they're costume jewellery, not real gold. With constant wear they WILL tarnish because of hair products, oil from the skin and sunlight. The rubber ear nuts will also hasten the tarnishing process, so don't store your earrings with the nuts attached (!), and keep all your jewellery in a closed drawer out of the light. It's also a good idea to wash them with warm soapy water, and rinse with clean water, every once in a while - especially after heavy wear. Also, never wear your costume jewellery at bedtime, and it's a good idea to clean your ear lobes with rubbing alcohol or peroxide at the end of the day. If your ears get sore, don't wear any earrings for a while, and apply a bit of Polysporin or some other kind of antibiotic salve. Also, if you have newly pierced years, only wear real gold studs for at least a year.

POLISH TIP: Sometimes jewellery can tarnish so I highly recommend having a polishing cloth on hand. A few quick wipes and the earrings look like new again! I use the Hagerty 15700 12-by-15 Jewelry Polishing Cloth (from Amazon) because I give everything I sell a wipe. I have nothing to gain by mentioning this brand, I just know it works for me. Find something that works for you, and give everything a sparkle!
