1. Products in this shop are DIGITAL DOWNLOADS, NOT PHYSICAL PRODUCTS. Products in this shop are digital files that are intended to be downloaded and used in graphics editing software and machinery. 2. The files in most downloads in my shop are sealed in a .zip file. You may need .zip file opening software to open the files containing the purchased graphics if your computer/device cannot open/extract .zip files. ALL Apple/Mac computers and PC computer devices with operating systems Windows 10 and above can open .zip files without additional software. If you are unable to open zip files on your computer/laptop, 7-zip is a free, open-source zip file-opening program available for download on the web if you need it.
3. HOW TO OPEN .ZIP FILES: Right-click the file on Google Drive and select 'Download.' After downloading the .zip file, it must be opened/"unzipped" to access your files. There are two ways to open a .zip file:
METHOD 1: If your device is an Apple/Mac computer, simply 'double-click' the .zip file and the folder containing the files will automatically be extracted.
If your device is a PC/Windows computer, and the operating systems Windows 10 and above is installed on it: 'Right-click' the .zip file and a drop-down menu will appear. Select 'Extract All' and a dialog box/window will appear to walk you through the process of extracting the folder containing the files.
METHOD 2: If your computer/laptop cannot open the .zip files, 7-zip is a free, open-source zip file-opening program available for download on the web. It will become very handy in opening more .zip files in the future.
AI DISCLOSURE: The images and graphics in my shop are primarily created with text-to-image AI-generated art programs, with detailed edits and modifications made by me, a graphic designer with an art/design background. Although I could and do create my own art/designs from scratch, I use artificial intelligence as my main tool for creating the graphics in this shop. AI-generative art tools are able to replicate the style/texture of vintage art mediums that are no longer widely practiced today(such as chromolithography) more efficiently than if I tried to replicate them from scratch on my own.
Vintage images are also extracted from actual surviving historical visual media/ephemera(such as vintage books, magazines, letters, photos, Etc.). However, there are only so many vintage images that are still in existence today and certain subjects, ideas, and groups of people (such as people of color) are vastly underrepresented in most surviving historical visual media. Artificial intelligence gives an artist and designer like myself a starting point to imagine and reconstruct what certain underrepresented subjects and concepts from the past could of looked like in vintage ephemera. Most of the graphics I generate with AI tools are significantly altered and edited by me in the "post-AI" production process since AI generative programs often produce results with flawed, inaccurate details.
