cool shit!

After becoming a graphic designer and working in the non-profit sector and corporate world, I decided to start a side hustle and use my artistic skills to create fun merch and decor pieces, seeing as I already loved making these types of items for friends and family and other collaborators around the world.

"cool shit" is not just a great shop, but it's great for when you want cool shit to buy for a decent price.

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions

Sun-catchers: these stick on your windows, so if you ever decide one day that your windows need a good clean, it's probably best to peel off the sticker, stick it back on its original backing, clean the window and then re-stick the sticker back on. These stickers can we wiped down quickly if needed and reused 1–3 times if stored properly.

Tapestries: Spot clean if needed. Attempting to vacuum might cause some yarn to unravel... don't say I didn't warn ya! Would probably be best if it wasn't placed in a high traffic area like the kitchen (steam, grease... not great).

OMG Bianca your tapestries are amazing! Do you do custom orders?

Why yes, yes I do! Just shoot me a msg on Etsy and I'll talk ya through my custom design process.

How are you so cool?

It just comes naturally I suppose

Best breakfast item?

Eggs Benny. Nothing else can compare.

Why don't you ship outside the USA and Canada?

It's too expensive right now. I'm just a small town girl living in a small town world and I'm running this biz as a side hustle to my full time job. If things change in the future, I'll be sure to let y'all know :)

tips n' tricks

In order to get best Rainbow results:

• Find window location with direct sunlight
• Ensure window surface is clean
• Peel sticker and place adhesive side on desired location on glass
• Gently squeeze out air bubbles
• Using my three pack of stickers will give you more of a chance to see some rainbows!

IMPORTANT: The intensity of the Rainbow will depend on the size of sticker, time of day/year and the weather.

how to compost your mailer

Best practice tips for composting your mailer:

For best results, remove any adhesives from your compostable mailer that aren’t compostable as this can disrupt the breaking down process. This includes any packaging tape, shipping labels or stickers that are attached to the exterior of the bag.

After that, no more prep is required – just pop your mailer in your compost bin of choice and let the decomposing organisms (worms, fungi and bacteria) do their thing.

If you’re home composting in your backyard, you can check back every so often on its process as the bag will decompose within 6 months.

Too easy!!!!
