Ciao ragazzi! Grazie per aver visitato il nostro negozio Etsy.
Il negozio Creating Curtis si trova vicino a Richmond, in Virginia. Qui Courtney realizza a mano creazioni personalizzate a tempo pieno. I nostri legni nazionali, come acero, noce e sapele, provengono da fonti locali e facciamo del nostro meglio per supportare le piccole imprese! Offriamo anche alcuni legni esotici audaci, tra cui il padouk africano e il purple heart sudamericano.
Courtney ha lasciato il suo lavoro dalle 8 alle 5 nella primavera del 2022 per dedicarsi a tempo pieno a Creating Curtis.
È stata una decisione davvero difficile e un grande rischio, ma con un coniuge che la supportava (con un decennio di esperienza nella lavorazione del legno) e un garage pieno di attrezzi... si è messa subito al lavoro!
"Ho imparato tutto quello che so da mia moglie o da YouTube. Ho imparato da solo a usare un router computerizzato (macchina CNC) e ho ripassato le mie competenze di progettazione digitale.
Il mio desiderio di aiutare le persone, unito all'amore per il lavoro manuale e alle tendenze ADHD/OCD, hanno permesso che questa splendida carriera si sviluppasse per me.
In questo periodo, ho ampliato la mia offerta di prodotti e ho dedicato molto tempo a perfezionare quelli più significativi. Le targhette sono ciò che sfrutto al meglio e adoro far parte dell'orgoglio di qualcuno. Sostengo i militari e i dipendenti pubblici e sono orgoglioso di creare per loro ogni giorno."

The Creating Curtis shop is located near Richmond, VA. Where Courtney hand makes custom creations full time. Our domestic woods such as Maple, Walnut, and Sapele are locally sourced, and we do our best to support fellow small businesses! We offer some bold exotic woods too, including African Padauk and South American Purple Heart.
Courtney left her 8-5 job in the spring of 2022 to start Creating Curtis full time.
It was a really hard decision and a big risk but with a supportive spouse (with a decade experience woodworking) and a garage full of tools.. she got right to work!
"I learned everything I know from my spouse, or youtube. I taught myself how to use a Computer Controlled Router (CNC Machine) and brushed up on my digital design skills.
My desire to help folks, combined with a love of working with my hands and ADHD/OCD tendencies allowed this beautiful career to unfold for me.
In that time, I have broadened my available products and spent a lot of time perfecting the ones that mean the most. Name plates is what I make the most of, and I love being a part of someone's pride. I support the military and government workers and am proud to create for them everyday."
