Etsy changed the way they collect taxes in Canada. For those who are legally registered with taxes in their own province like me, we are now force to include taxes in our prices to prevent customers to be charged twice the amount for taxes. By doing so, I will unfortunately not be able to offer as much promotional offers than I was doing before that change :( I prefer offering less promotional offers than raising the prices. We are multiple Canadian sellers working with Etsy to find a better solution since it mostly affects legally registered businesses.
Please note that this change only affects my Etsy shop, my website creationall.com is fully under my control and not subject to those new terms.

Etsy a changé sa façon de collecter les taxes au Canada. Pour ceux qui, comme moi, sont légalement enregistrés aux taxes dans leur propre province, nous sommes maintenant obligés d'inclure les taxes dans nos prix pour éviter que les clients soient facturés deux fois le montant des taxes. Ce faisant, je ne pourrai malheureusement pas proposer autant d'offres promotionnelles qu'avant ce changement :( Je préfère proposer moins d'offres promotionnelles que d'augmenter les prix. Nous sommes plusieurs vendeurs canadiens à travailler avec Etsy pour trouver une meilleure solution puisque cela affecte surtout les entreprises légalement enregistrées.
Veuillez noter que ce changement concerne seulement ma boutique Etsy, mon site creationall.com est entièrement sous mon contrôle et n'est pas soumis à ces nouvelles conditions.

I have started using a new Purolator business account, shipping costs are reasonable and delivery times are excellent. For all orders including upgraded Canada Post shipping service, Purolator Ground or Express will be used depending on shipping charges and guaranteed delivery date. I will prioritize the service that will give you the best chance of receiving your gifts in time for Christmas. For example, most orders from Quebec and Ontario are delivered the day after the pickup date. The same principle will apply to orders from the United States if the shipping costs are similar.

J’ai commencé à utiliser un nouveau compte commercial Purolator, les frais de livraison sont raisonnables et les délais de livraison sont excellents. Pour toutes les commandes incluant une amélioration du service d’expédition de Postes Canada, Purolator Ground ou Express sera utilisé selon les frais d’expédition et la date de livraison garantie. Je prioriserai le service qui vous offrira les meilleures chances de recevoir vos cadeaux à temps pour Noël. À titre d’exemple, la plupart des commandes du Québec et de l’Ontario sont livrées le lendemain de la date de cueillette. I am very happy to announce that it is now possible to personalize all my creations by laser engraving. In addition, new laser cut and engraved products will be added. You can already choose more than 13 designs to engrave whether for a wedding, a birthday or simply for personalization with name. The designs can of course be adapted for other occasions. I could almost smell the black walnut through the packaging, such wonderful material. You absolutely nailed the personalization... size, font and location on the board is just right. Very well packaged and presented, protected with corner guards, paper wrapping and water-dissolvable packing peanuts. A great gift for yourself or someone else.

Why using 100% pure tung oil or 100% pure hemp oil instead of mineral oil?
I prefer both 100% pure tung oil & 100% pure hemp oil over mineral oil for a very simple reason, it’s not distillated from petroleum :)
What type of wood glue is used to build the cutting boards?
I use Titebond III that is approved for food contact by the FDA. This glue is also waterproof and provide a very strong bond.
Care instructions
Every cutting board comes with a care instructions booklet. By following those instructions, your cutting board will be at it's best year after year.
Sizing details
The dimensions of each cutting board is written i the title of each respective listing. Please note that there may be a 1/16" variation.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Each cutting board is wrapped in brown kraft paper before shipping. The packing slip will be included in the box but separately of the cutting board packaging. All the filling contained in the shipping box is either biodegradable or recyclable.
Custom and personalized orders
If you would like cutting board that has specific dimensions not listed anywhere in the shop listings, please do not hesitate to contat me and I will be very happy to help you. For each custom order, I always try to minimize any waste of wood so there is a chance that during the preparation process, i end up with more strips of wood than your cutting board really requires for it's final dimensions. If it's the case, I will contact you and offer to add it to your custom cutting board at no charge so you may end up with a bigger board at no additional cost. Do not worry if you really require very specific dimensions, all the requirements will be respected.

If you require a volume order, please contact me and I will be happy to discuss about your needs. Depending of the volume of the order, a discount will be offered accordingly. Please note that I'm the only one working in my shop so as a "one man shop" there will be a delay that could vary greatly depending on the volume requested.
Can I use mineral oil over the current 100% pure tung oil & beeswax original treatment?
I already converted cutting boards from mineral oil treatment to the 100% pure tung oil & beeswax treatment without any issue but never experienced the inverse. However, in my opinion, i do not see any potential issue of doing so. The most important part is to protect the wood frequenltly and the product used is simply a personnal preference.
Is my cutting board ready to use when i receive it?
Before shipping each cutting board, i always apply a fresh treatment of 100% pure hemp oil & beeswax so after waiting the 48h period recommended to let the wood accomodate to your home environnement, your cutting board is ready to be used right away.
What type of oil is used to finish the cutting board?
I only use 100% pure tung oil & 100% pure hemp oil. The brand isn't really important but you need to be careful not to buy some products that use the name "oil finish" or any product that is thinned or polymerized. Some of those products contains strong chimicals and thinners that are not food safe at all. It must be 100% pure oil and nothing else.
