A Little Story Behind Crystal Café ☕
Hi, I'm the maker behind Crystal Café. ☕
By day, I'm a Ph.D. student in Biomedical Informatics, researching cancer prevention. I spend my days surrounded by data, code, and research, working toward improving health through science.
As much as I love my work, it also reminds me how important it is to slow down.
Some of my favorite moments are surprisingly simple—a refreshing strawberry slushie after a long day, a quiet afternoon in a cozy café, or spending an evening designing with natural gemstones. Those little pauses became something I looked forward to, and eventually inspired Crystal Café.
Crystal Café is my creative space, where I transform the colors of my favorite café drinks into handcrafted gemstone bracelets. Every design begins with a feeling or a drink that brings me joy, whether it's the sweetness of a Strawberry Slushie or the calm of a Lavender Slushie. I carefully select each natural gemstone for its unique color, texture, and character, then handcraft every bracelet with care.
Because I work with natural gemstones, no two bracelets are exactly alike. Tiny inclusions, soft color variations, and unique patterns are all part of their natural beauty, making every piece one of a kind.
To me, crystals are beautiful not only because of their colors, but also because of the meanings they carry. Friendship, love, clarity, calm, hope, and courage—each stone tells its own story. Together, they become more than a bracelet; they become a gentle reminder to pause, embrace the present, and move toward tomorrow with a little more confidence and joy.
