General Jewelry Care
- Remove jewelry prior to going into any water including showering, washing hands, saunas, steam rooms etc.
- Avoid getting lotions perfumes or cosmetic products on jewelry.
- Clean gently with a soft cotton or flannel cloth and a solution of warm water and mild detergent. Do not scrub vigorously. Dry thoroughly. Avoid cleaning with abrasive materials and chemical cleaners
- Store in a cool, dry dark place (certain stones are sensitive to UV light and temperature).Store separately to prevent scratches.
-Wrap your jewelry in tissue paper and store in an air tight container/bag to reduce tarnishing (except pearls store in a breathable bag of organza). Chalk or a silica bag will reduce moisture and slow tarnishing.

- Follow general jewelry care guidelines as well as:

- For tarnishing clean using a silver polishing cloth or rouge cloth. Avoid commercial silver polish dips. which can leave a residue leading to faster oxidization or yellowing.
- For an eco-friendly silver dip: line a bowl with tin foil cover bottom with baking soda and pour hot water submerge silver allowing to sit in baking soda (avoid full submersion if your jewelry has any other porous materials) rinse and thoroughly dry.
-Note that a person’s oils and acidity of skin can either help polish tarnished silver or cause it to oxidize rapidly.
