This is a quality sewing job and I love the design. Unfortunately the color is not quite what it looked like on my monitor. I was expecting a grey backround but what arrived was a greenish blue-grey. It's not a bad color it's just that I wanted it specifically for the grey. It's still a lovely piece; It is hand dyed. The seller included washing instructions and some kind of dye absorber to include when washing. I don't think I would want to wash it because of that. I can imagine problems with the dye running and the colors becoming muddy rather than the beautiful vibrant color they are now. I don't know enough about hand dyed items to know and it very well may not be a problem at all. Just saying I am cautious. I'll probably find a spot where I can hang it on a wall so I don't have to worry about it getting dirty. It's great!
