About

Enarmoured is Handcrafted Fine Art Jewellery with a bold, timeless, elegant appeal. Aesthetic armour for all occasions.

My passion for jewellery making came out later in life. I graduated from OCAD University in Toronto, Canada with a BFA in Painting and Drawing. Working full time as a painter for nearly a decade, I was drawn to the idea of using my creativity in a new medium. I've always preferred working with my hands, and the tactile quality that jewellery making provides seemed like the perfect next step. This spoke true for me after completing Con Ed courses in Jewellery at George Brown College.

Enarmoured is handcrafted fine art jewellery created by artist Jordan Clarke in Toronto, Ontario. Working with brass, Jordan creates bold, elegant and timeless pieces of small-batch jewellery.
Each piece of jewellery, from the initial sketch to completion, is formed lovingly by hand. Using both traditional and innovative jewellery-making techniques, Jordan creates unique pieces of ‘wearable art’. Enarmoured jewellery is made using raw brass sheet metal, raw brass components, and vintage brass chain. All earrings hang from gold plated ear wires.

Care instructions

Due to the nature of Brass, it is normal for the metal to tarnish when exposed to oxygen. This natural process creates a gorgeous Patina finish over time.

Keep in mind that it is always a good idea to put your jewellery on after you have applied all grooming products ie: hair products, makeup, perfume and lotions. Do not wear jewellery in the shower or when washing hands. Keep jewellery stored in a zip lock bag.

Cleaning jewellery: Create a paste using 2 tablespoons of baking soda with a few drops of lemon juice. Using a toothbrush apply the paste to your brass piece and scrub. Let it sit in the paste for 30 min then rinse with water and dry it thoroughly with a cloth.
