WE SHIP 5 DAYS A WEEK

ADDRESS- Your parcel will be labelled with a computer print out of the address that is included with your order.

TRACKING - Most small purchases are shipped air with the post office (ie Canada Post /USPS) and do NOT have tracking or insurance. If you want your purchases tracked look for SHIPPING UPGRADE at check-out or simply ask. This shop is not responsible for damage caused by shippers nor loss of parcel if uninsured. That being said I have been packaging and shipping items for 2 decades.

COMBINED SHIPPING - If you want to save and are purchasing MULTIPLE items, I can create a custom listing usually with a lower combined shipping cost.

WEEKENDS - Items purchased on the weekends in most cases will be shipped Monday or the first business day in case of holidays. A dispatch notification is automatically sent out to you once the parcel is marked as shipped. Check the email associated to your Etsy account or purchase.

PACKAGING - Shipping costs also include the careful packing of your item and supplies needed. As well as all paperwork filled out for customs forms. Please be aware we use recycled packing materials as much as possible, including bubble wrap, sheet foam, tissue, Styrofoam, carboard boxes and brown paper.

DUTIES - The buyer is responsible for any duties or import taxes that may be required by importing into your country.

OPEN PACKAGES IMMEDIATELY - This may be common sense for most but sometimes life gets busy and parcels get put aside. Please open packages as soon as you receive them to make sure everything is as it is assumed.

SHIPPING DAMAGE - (Applies only to insured parcels) - If your item has been damaged in shipping, photographs of the damage product and the damaged packaging must be sent to me within 2 days of receiving your parcel. Please include a brief description and your contact information so a claim can be filed if INSURANCE was purchased.

SHIPPING IN CANADA - All parcels being shipped within Canada are sent via Canada Post. Some small flat items will have very inexpensive shipping rates for Canadian address' and those items are sent via regular mail (NO TRACKING or INSURANCE) Canada Post has the best rates for parcels and all parcels (greater than 2cm thick) have insurance and tracking included in the price. The Etsy system isn't set up well for different rates across the country, so doing it manually is the best way I know how at the present time. The rates included in each listing are for country wide, meaning the price will be higher in case the customer is in Nova Scotia or NFL. The closer you live to BC the better chance I can offer a bit lower rate if you contact us with your postal code.
Shipping to BC, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, & Alberta is 2 business day.

SHIPPING TO THE USA - We ship 5 days a week to the US and delivery is typically made within 6 to 10 days from date of drop off. Purchases are shipped air with Canada Post and do NOT have tracking or insurance, so it is always best to include a phone number for shipping documents. If you want your purchases tracked look for SHIPPING UPGRADE at check-out or simply ask. These parcel are international and must go thru customs before being handed off to USPS. I can't be held responsible for damage caused by shippers nor loss of parcel.

SCREWS - standard screws for going through 3/4 inch wood are included. If you have thicker wood to go through please let us know.
CUSTOM LISTINGS can be created for multiple items under one listing with a single shipping cost. They are designed to hold items for a specific person and expire in 24 hours.
VINTAGE HARDWARE - The items I sell are NOT NEW, they are used items that I have found, cleaned, and in most cases refinished for a new life. Many different companies made these pieces and there will be small variations throughout, different molds were used so the backs might not look the same or screw shaft length will vary in length between the same looking handles.
DISTRESSING is the activity of making an object appear aged and older, giving it a "weathered look," this can include paint crazing/cracking, worn areas, and chipped paint.
ANTIQUING is a form of distressing where the artisan intends to not only age a piece, but also create an antique appearance.
PRICES are firm and reflect the supplies, original costs, time, and labor put into hand finishing these unique items.
