Welcome to Geary's world.
It begins in a place built of clockwork — a world of ticking towers and turning gears, of old machines that still remember, where time itself feels close enough to touch. In that world, most gears do one job and turn forever in place. Geary was one of them: a single small gear, ordinary, easy to overlook.
And then something sparked. A gear became a bot. A bot grew a heart. And Geary discovered the secret that gives this whole world its name — that you are never only the parts you're made of. You can become more.
Geary is small, curious, and brave in the quiet way that matters most. His world is full of wonder and a little mystery: friends who help one another grow, machines with memories, places where the past and the present tick along side by side. There are adventures ahead of him, and a few shadows too — but at the heart of every story is the same gentle truth: that kindness and courage can turn even the smallest among us into something whole.
This little robot is the center of a growing universe. Geary stars in an upper-middle-grade illustrated novel, with an animated series in development and more of his world still unfolding — written, drawn, and built by one person, James Baskind of Automata Vista LLC, who set out to make something with heart, and to last.
