My name is Sarah, and I'm an Ontario-based watercolour painter. There are three main topics I focus on in my art: abstracts, interpretive landscapes, and highly detailed illustrations of invertebrates. Through all of them I'm deeply inspired by the natural world, and the patterns and colours found within it.

When my art gets turned into other products such as stickers or prints, it's done with the help of my partner's company JokerFX. Everything is produced locally in Ontario, often by me, but sometimes one of the shop employees. All the framing and matting is done by me, and I carefully choose frame and mat colours to suit the individual needs of the piece, especially when it's an original. I believe framing is an integral part of making the art a finished piece, and one that frequently gets overlooked in favour of cheaper, more readily available options.

When I'm not making art, I can be found in my Home for Wayward Creatures, likely knitting, drinking coffee, or tending to plants.
