Om mig
Min farfar lämnade efter sig en myntsamling som var avsedd som ett arv till sina barnbarnsbarn. Det var något han ägnade ett helt liv åt att bygga upp, ett mynt i taget.
När jag tog samlingen till en lokal myntaffär fick jag höra att myntseten helt enkelt skulle klippas ut ur sina förpackningar och smältas ner för att få ett bättre metallvärde. Tanken på att min farfars hårda arbete skulle förstöras kändes inte bra för mig.
Det är därför jag skapade Myntgömman – för att hitta samlare som uppskattar dessa mynt för vad de är, inte bara vad de är värda i metall. Mitt mål är att placera varje mynt i händerna på någon som värdesätter historien, omsorgen och avsikten bakom samlingen.
Varje mynt kommer från min farfars samling, och varje försäljning bidrar till att bevara det arv han ville lämna efter sig.
About Me
My grandfather left behind a coin collection intended as an inheritance for his great-grandchildren. It was something he spent a lifetime building, one coin at a time.
When I took the collection to a local coin shop, I was told the mint sets would simply be cut from their packaging and melted down for their metal value. The idea of my grandfather’s hard work being destroyed didn’t sit right with me.
That’s why I created The Coin Cache — to find collectors who appreciate these coins for what they are, not just what they’re worth in metal. My goal is to place each piece into the hands of someone who values the history, care, and intention behind the collection.
Every coin comes from my grandfather’s collection, and every sale helps preserve the legacy he meant to leave behind.
