I am so so so so happy with my custom pet portraits. I ordered two, and was sent updates of the drawings to make sure I was happy with them. Very happy with the process and the product!

Was an absolute joy: responsive, professional, and an all-around excellent experience. Will gladly commission again in the future.
We are sisters who are also illustrators. Jeri is a watercolour artist and Jayleen is a marker artist. Both with a passion for nature.
Jayleen: I went to school for Classical animation, but my love lies in illustration. I also love pets. Cartoon Pet portraits seemed like a good direction for me. I was doing them unofficially for a long time, with so many requests I thought that Etsy might be a better place for me! I went to Vancouver Film School for animation and worked in several Vancouver based Studios. I am certified in Copic markers and previously did tutorials for Imagination International. I have many certificates in Dinosaur related courses because dinosaurs are life! <3
I have 4 cats, and one rabbit. I recently (May 23 2016) Lost my soul mate kitty, Viddies. My little Shop mascot is Augustus the old man. We adopted him in March 2016 at the age of 15 hoping to give him the best old are retirement possible. We also have Viddies Daughter Vegetable (16 years old), our crazy Bengal Mix, Cheese (3 years old) and most recently added to the pride is Poutine (2 years old), the grey and white Tuxedo. Chasing them around is Pepita the black and white Bunny!
Jeri: I am a comic book artist and a watercolourist. I'll fill out my Bio soon
Watercolour artist and illustrator. Jeris Jayleen's Twins sister and she created beautiful watercolours of dinosaurs and animals.

Frequently asked questions
For Custom Pet Portraits:
Please do not display them in direct sunlight.
They will fade.
If you frame them I recommend Museum glass, or UV glass or Plexi. I do NOT recommend non glare as it lets more light to the image. When framing do not let the image touch the glass. Over time it will stick and be destroyed (This goes for all framing, actually). Having a mat or frame spacers in front of the image keeps them away from the glass.
They are hand made, and protected with resin, however they are not completely damage resistant. If not treated with care they can scratch or break. It's not recommended these be attached to key chains or other items that get beat up a lot.
Watercolour original care/framing
The best way to care for your original watercolour painting is to put it in a frame as soon as possible. They are matted to fit easily into standard/common frame sizes to make sure you will have no problem finding frames that fit the art and your decor.
If you are going to be hanging them in rooms with a lot of natural/direct light, you can protect them by upgrading your glass to UV protective glass, however the paint and paper are archival professional grade paints and fading/colour shifting should be minimal even in those conditions.
Colour approximation with original art
Reproducing original artwork is difficult, we have used a variety of photos and scans using full spectrum and regular lighting to help give you as close an approximation as possible. Due to screen setting variations, lighting variation and other variable the colours may not be exactly as shown.
