Als mein Mann John und ich den Etsy-Shop „Handmade by Gobin“ gründeten, war geplant, dass ich das Gesicht des Unternehmens sein würde. Da ich einen Großteil der Näharbeiten übernehmen würde, war das naheliegend. Seit der Gründung hat sich die Verantwortung jedoch zunehmend auf Johns Mitarbeit verteilt. Nähen ist meine größte kreative Leidenschaft, und seine langjährige Erfahrung in der Textil- und Bekleidungsbranche macht es auch zu seiner. Wir sind ein tolles Team, tauschen Ideen aus und entwickeln gemeinsam Designs, Schnittmuster, Farbkonzepte und vieles mehr. Aufgrund dieser Entwicklung haben wir uns entschieden, den Shop in „Handmade by Gobin and Pops“ umzubenennen. Während wir den neuen Namen, das neue Logo und das neue Erscheinungsbild des Shops umstellen, werden wir die gewohnte hohe Qualität und den exzellenten Service beibehalten. Wir sind dankbar, dass wir etwas haben, das uns beiden Freude bereitet, und freuen uns darauf, neue und abwechslungsreiche Artikel in unserem Etsy-Shop und auf den vielen Kunsthandwerksmessen in North Carolina anzubieten.

When my husband, John, and I set up the “Handmade by Gobin” Etsy shop, the plan was for me to be the face of the business. Since I would be doing much of the sewing, it was logical to do that. Since starting the business, things have moved more towards shared responsibility with John. Sewing is my first creative passion and his lifetime in the textiles and apparel industry makes it his as well. We make a great team, sharing ideas, working out designs, patterns, color schemes and the like. Because we have moved in that direction, we decided that the shop name needs to be “Handmade by Gobin and Pops”. As we transition to the new name, logo and shop appearance, we will maintain the excellent quality and service we have provided to date. We are thankful to have something we both enjoy and look forward to bringing new and different items to our Etsy Shop and the many craft fairs we do around North Carolina.
