I bought a copy of this for myself, which I am already reading, and loved it so much I bought another copy to gift to a friend. This book is very cool and quite innovative — highly recommended!

Great book with lovely pictures. I plan to work through the book page by page and am quite excited about learning the technique. Thank you.

Inge’s art is a joy. I have now ordered a second item as well and am thrilled beyond measure with both. As a weaver myself, I am limited to 8 shafts and am in awe of Inge’s mastery of color and design that comes with significantly more loom to work with.

Fantastic book on integrating tablet weaving on a multi-harness loom. Inge Dam's work is beyond gorgeous and her book is beautifully produced.
I am passionate about weaving!
In my Etsy shop I sell unique handwoven and hand sewn items. The items are made with the best quality materials. I hand dye most of the yarns I use so each items can not be reproduced. In some of my pieces I have incorporated tablet (card) woven bands. Tablet weaving is an ancient technique dating back thousands of years. The tablet weaving add a special touch to a handwoven piece.
I am also selling my book. It was self published in 2013.
Thank you for your interest.
I was introduced to weaving 31 years ago and I have been passionate about it since. In 1992 I completed an In Depth Study and became a Master Weaver. I teach workshops in the US, Canada, and England. In 2013 I published a book on my unique weaving.
I am a handweaver living in a small village in Ontario, Canada. I make one of a kind shawls, scarves, small bags, and greeting cards. In many of my items I incorporate tablet (card) weaving. Tablet weaving is an ancient technique (please see my About page for pictures of tablets on my loom). I weave on a 32 shaft computer operated loom also called a dobby loom.
I am inspired by color, I love colors, and it comes through in my work as you can see. I hand dye all the yarns that I use and I use only the best quality materials such as silk and mercerized cotton.
My signature pieces are hand dyed, handwoven shawls with tablet woven bands. It can take up to three month for me to complete a shawl. I finish the shawl off with twisted fringes to which I add beads.
All my items should be hand washed and laid flat to dry.
