What are the advantages of incorporating a large amount of metal shavings in orgonite?
Using metal shavings in orgonite is beneficial because metals conduct energy effectively. When combined with resin, these shavings help convert negative energy into positive, cleanse, and balance the surrounding energy. More metal shavings improve interaction with the resin and amplify the crystals' effects, enhancing energy healing and spiritual practices. What should I know about U.S. orders?
U.S. Shipping Information
U.S. orders ship via PostNL (DDP – duties prepaid), UPS (DDP – duties prepaid), or FedEx (DDU – duties may apply).
With DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipments, import duties and taxes are prepaid, so no extra charges apply upon delivery.
With DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) shipments, any import duties, taxes, or customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer and may be charged upon delivery.
Some items may be exempt depending on U.S. customs regulations.
How are your orgonite pieces made?
I make all orgonite pieces together with Stefan, fully by hand. We use polyester resin (not epoxy) because it shrinks while curing, creating pressure on the metal and crystals inside, supporting the piezoelectric effect.
Each piece contains a base mix of quartz, selenite, black tourmaline, rhodizite, shungite, and rose quartz, plus metal shavings. Often there is also a main crystal visible at the front.
After curing, every piece is hand-shaped, sanded, and polished to remove the sticky layer and create a smooth, glass-like finish.
This slower process makes every piece unique and carefully finished.
Do you also work with your own gemstones?
Yes. We work as lapidaries, which means we work with natural stones from rough material all the way to a finished gemstone.
Stefan cuts and polishes cabochons himself from raw stone. This is a slow and careful process—sometimes it can take a long time to get a really good cabochon, because each stone behaves differently and needs time to shape and polish properly.
Often, Stefan’s own cabochons are used in our jewelry pieces, and this is always mentioned in the product description when applicable. So instead of only using pre-made stones, we also create part of the stones ourselves.
From rough stone to polished cabochon, each step is done by hand. This makes every piece more special and gives it a strong sense of craftsmanship.
Why is aluminium commonly used in orgonite?
For a good orgonite you need a lot of metal shavings for it to work properly. The aluminum that is present in my orgonites is made of residual material and is therefore being recycled. It is a good conductor and cheaper and lighter than copper. In addition, aluminum offers effective protection against electromagnetic radiation, because the stronger a material conducts, the better the shielding ability is.
