"I have been making jewelry in my mom's shop since I was 12 years old (or around that time- possible longer!) I started out by making beaded bracelets and gradually through a shop teacher at school I learned to work with metal. Now I use sheet metal to make bracelets, cuffs, earrings, rings and necklaces. All of my work is hand made by me and each piece is unique and special."

Ava's humanitarian work inspired her to create a foundation with her partner Fazineh. Her jewelry design has tied in nicely to support ILF:

    Innocence Lost Foundation:

Designs by AVA is so happy to partner with Innocence Lost Foundation, to support their goals of creating rehabilitation and resource centers for child soldiers and youth in Africa.
100% of our profits are donated to their cause. So now when you purchase an item from our shop, you are also helping to care for someone in Africa and are giving back to the global community!!
