Antiquariato abbandonato, riportato in vita nell'oscurità...
Discarded antiques resurrected in darkness...
Quella che era nata come una forma di arteterapia "oscura" e un'iniziativa creativa metal/macabra, con i suoi delicati oggetti antichi in ceramica avvolti nel nero e impreziositi da gocce cremisi e dettagli dorati, ha rapidamente conquistato un seguito di culto nelle Quad Cities e non solo.
Essendo profondamente ispirato dall'horror e dall'heavy metal, questo si è rivelato davvero provvidenziale quando, con mia grande sorpresa, Jonathan Davis dei Korn ha acquistato un dipinto di Isabel Doom realizzato a mano nel centro di Davenport nel 2022. Il giorno dopo si sarebbe esibito a Moline, nell'Illinois.
La gratificazione che ne deriva è stata a volte l'unica ragione per cui continuo a dipingere o persino ad aprire questo negozio su Etsy!
Da allora, ho venduto e commissionato moltissimi pezzi unici dipinti a mano e ho collaborato e venduto le mie opere ad artisti e aziende locali.
È possibile ammirare le statue dipinte a mano di Isabel Doom esposte in diversi esercizi commerciali di Quezon City.

What began as a "dark" art-therapy outlet and metal/macabre creative endeavor, dainty, ceramic antiques that have been cloaked in black and glistened with droplets of crimson with gold detailing quickly developed a cult following in the Quad Cities and, beyond.
Being profoundly inspired by horror & heavy-metal, this really paid off for me when, to my utter surprise, Jonathan Davis of the band KORN purchased a hand-painted Isabel Doom in Downtown Davenport in 2022. He was performing in Moline, Illinois the next day.
The validation that comes with that has at times been the single reason that I continue to paint or to even open this Etsy Shop!
Since then, I have sold and commissioned plenty of hand-painted, truly unique pieces and have collaborated & vended with local artists and businesses.
You can find Isabel Doom hand-painted statuary lurking in various QC establishments on display.
