FROM MUSICIAN ... TO CROCHET DESIGNER

Crochet came into my life about a decade ago. After playing music for many years, I needed a creative outlet that was a bit more peaceful and quiet with little humans in the house! That's when I stumbled upon crochet. I was thrilled to see that I was able to make something only a few days into this journey!

Over time, I noticed that I had a hard time finding patterns that fit with what I had in mind: something modern and simple, but playful and joyful... oh and easy and not too long to make since a momma's life can be busy and interrupted! Before I knew it, I started making my items without patterns so it would fit that description perfectly. This is how I discovered a passion for designing... and that JULIVIA came to life ♥

JULIVIA, as you may have already guessed, is a combination of my 2 little humans' names. This is one of the ways I have found to include them in my studio, besides helping me with the first sketches when I have an idea (oh, and of course, giving me the final stamp of approval!)

JULIVIA is dedicated to inspiring creativity and bringing joy to both parents and children through simple, playful, and timeless designs that will be cherished for years to come.

I believe that anyone should be able to make something great in the early stages of learning the craft, so I use simple stitches and techniques. Nothing complicated and tricky, just plain and simple, making my patterns easy to understand and execute. I use a limited selection of easy-to-find yarn and tools so you can bring my patterns to life with ease.

As a designer, I value quality over quantity and do not rush the design process. I embrace trial and error and give myself the freedom to fail and try again until I have the perfect high-quality design to share with you.
